PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Happy New Year! Winter arrived in full force and the Chamber continues to move forward as well!
Within the next few weeks, we will be distributing the 2012 Community Guide and Business Directory. There is going to be a new feature. In addition to our printed version, we will also be creating and e-zine version that will allow readers to review it just like a book, flip pages, print, share with friends or colleagues and with the click of a mouse – contact our members and advertisers. Beginning this year the directory will now be published annually too.
Membership is increasing steadily. Since last year we have doubled our membership through renewals and new members. If you know anyone who would benefit from being a Chamber member, bring them to a Chamber event! Join us at one of the well attended monthly mixers, a luncheon, or a ribbon cutting. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the MACC 40th Anniversary at our Annual Dinner & Gala! Congratultions to our awards winners: Business of the Year - Excel Business Systems, Citizen of the Year - Dawn McDowell, Ambassador of the Year - Caryn Rosica, President's Award - Diane Burke and a very Special Recognition Award - W.D. Hatton Jewelers as a 40 year member of the MACC!
